Narissa's research interests lie in the area of predicting interpersonal relationship success. She is currently completing her dissertation work on the interaction between personality traits, emotions, and relationship satisfaction in committed couples engaged in stressful and challenging laboratory tasks.

Susan's research interests lie in the area of personality and personality assessment. She is currently researching how difficult it is for test-takers to read and comprehend the individual items on the MMPI-2, MMPI-2-RF, and MMPI-A, and constructing a test to examine that issue. She is also interested in how the frequency of experiencing various emotions relates to an individual's stable personality traits.

Jacob Finn

Ph.D. Student

Jacob's research interests fall into two broad areas: the conceptualization and measurement of pathological personality traits in clinical and non-clinical populations and the utilization of personality assessment data for treatment planning purposes. His current research focuses on improving the measurement of psychotic-like experiences across assessment settings. He is also exploring how personality traits may affect an individual's reactions to various aspects of mental health services.

Lincoln Lim

Ph.D. Student

Lincoln's research is focused on the interplay between personality traits and neuropsychological performance. He is interested in improving the description of cognitive features associated with different personality traits and in identifying neuroanatomical structures which may be involved in both cognitive and dispositional processes. Lincoln's research also looks at how these individual differences may be associated with genetic markers.
